Jose Buco,PT

Jose Buco has achieved his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy on April 2, 1990 at the age of 21 year old from his Country, the Philippines. He accomplished to work as a Physical Therapy Staff at New York State Health and Hospital Corporation's formerly known as Goldwater Memorial Hospital now known as Coler-Goldwater Memorial Hospital in 1992. He is very proud of his PT Employment Training at Goldwater as it is a Teaching Hospital for NYU TISH Medical Center. He was trained and supervised by NYU Supervisory Staff. He resigned in 1993 at Goldwater as a Supervising PT at Goldwater Memorial Hospital.

In 1993-1994 he started as a part time Independent PT contractor as a HomeCare PT for Visiting Nurse Service of New York and VTA. He also worked Part Time as a NYC Board of Education Physical Therapist from 1993-1994. He founded Quality Care Physical Therapy®, PC. in March 3, 1996 up to the Present.

Jose Buco is not only a traditional Physical Therapist, maintaining the QCPT Wellness Club but he is also convinced that real health involved a seamless integration of body, mind and spirit, thus he is also initiating the wellness approach to combining the best of western medicine and natural healing modalities in his QCPT Wellness Club.

He believes that "good physical well-being" is essential for the health of the mind and spirit. If your body - the home of your spirit, mind - consciousness and awareness - is unhealthy or unfit, your mind-consciousness and awareness will also be extremely unhappy. His goal is to assist and be a good part of his patient's life, the community and the society to maximize their return to full pain-free normal physical ultimate function so they all could perform their good purpose in life.
